Permata Singapore

I absolutely loved the food here. There was a wide selection of food, and every single one we tried was good. Will definitely be coming back!

We had our wedding reception here at Permata, and we cannot but be so glad that we picked Permata for our majlis - so so happy, blessed, and grateful to have celebrated our marriage in Singapore here! Planning for the reception while overseas was challenging but from the start to the end, Permata exceeded all expectations: Ms Rinna Suhaimi is simply AMAZING - she provided so much support (consistently for nearly a whole year!!) and was always there to guide us through the wedding prep and even on the day itself - omg Rinna we are so blessed to have you!!; the wedding decor was SO beautiful and the team kept in contact with us throughout to help us realize what we wanted; the food was simply delicious - they took our feedback during the food tasting seriously, and all our guests raved about how amazing the food was (our regret was we couldn't eat more as bride & groom during the wedding haha) - thank you Chef!!; and the whole Permata team made everything so smooth, so easy, and just a dream! They were also always so kind, patient, helpful and accommodating with our needs, schedules, and basically everything, so generous too, and we were always kept updated! There's still so much to say but words can't capture our wonderful experience - thank you so very much Permata for our beautiful, beautiful wedding and experience, definitely a venue & team that we'd pick a thousand times over!!

I would consider this place among the best buffet in sg. Affordable and wide spread of nice dishes. Should at least try once

The whole atmosphere was wonderful, it wasn’t too crowded and was quiet the whole time I was there. The food itself was delicious, everything was so flavourful and Chef Mel was so creative with the way he prepares the different fusion dishes. Both Chef Mel and his staff were so welcoming, friendly and so professional. Will definitely come back again.

Nice and spacious seating area. The food is just okay. A number of dishes are salty. Even the sambal are salty too. Only the kacang pool is really good. Desserts are quite plenty but it's just passable. Many varieties but the quality is not that great. Service was fantastic though. Staff was alert and they always clear the table quite fast. There's a prayer room for men and women too.

I recently had dinner with the family (of 4) during the restaurant's menu "A Celebration Of Diverse Flavours". The food was good, and the enchiladas were a very big hit for us. Do bear in mind that the menu will change from time to time, but if your palate leans towards more local and regional flavours, Permata is a safe choice. The price point is also a pull factor, especially for a buffet. The food is split into a few sections: the main central line/islands, an outdoor roast/grill section and a drink section in another room. There was a table with sides and starter items in the room with the drinks that might be easy to miss, so do watch out for that as there may be some appealing options there. The staff are also very warm and attentive, so you can be assured that the used crockery on the tables will be removed rather promptly, without being obtrusive. There was also a shared celebration of patrons' special occasions, replete with a slice of cake. Reservation of tables was seamless through the website, and without any issues. If you would like to meet Chef Mel Dean, your best chance would be the second seating or towards the later part of the buffet session.

Mmmdap! Nice and Good variety Food selections. Clean restrooms too. Menus changed every 2 months according to Chef Mel Dean himself Looking forward to our nx Dinner buffet
